Molly has been adopted!  She will be a constant companion traveling and going everywhere with her new daddy

Koda and Ryder are on a trial adoption in a home where they will get to stay together.  They each have their own human kid (which kids are their favorite people).
Layla is now being fostered by our newest volunteers Kelley and her family. We are still waiting two more months for Layla’s leg condition to progress and a foster home is more ideal to observe and evaluate.

OK I was gonna wait till it was official but KATELYN IS ADOPTING MY MATT!!!!!!

Thank you so much Katelyn for seeing what I saw in that boy. Sometimes the best ones are hidden inside themselves and they just need someone to help bring them out! His new name is Milo and he is so happy! Him and his new fur sister are in love. I still want a family photo kinda my thing lol.

This is Ginger and her new mom, Ora Del McMahon

What a sweet outcome to a story that started not so well. Ora Del and her husband are volunteer, supporters of Living Love and fell in love with sweet Ginger. Now  Ginger lives a wonderful life with people who love her.  That is what we hope to do for all those fortunate enough to come to Living Love.Thank you JT and Ora Del for your help and contribution to Living Love.   All the love you give out comes back to you.
Thank you and God Bless.

What’s it like to go from being a shelter cat to living in a real forever
home?

See for yourself.

Olivia, the little manx found out when J.T.  McMahon, a Living Love Volunteer couldn’t say “no”.Life at Living Love is pleasant, with lots of good food, care and love, but nothing equals having your own lovely home with people who love you and even let you walk all over them and the  furniture.

For a young kitten or puppy who has known nothing but shelter life, it is a miracle from heaven. So much space, and the constant attention! That’s what we do here at Living Love, work so hard to match each little resident with just the right forever home. There’s nothing like it.

Well done, J.T. and Olivia.

Meet Abby

We pulled Abby from Marble falls as they could not give her the proper care she needed and would have to euthanize if not pulled. 5 Mo old boxer mix and so loving!  She is full of hookworms and will need a lot of TLC. The hair loss on her back is not mange but feared to be abuse as she seems to have cigarette burns also. Abby had been turned in as a stray but has a professionally done tail docking. If anyone comes forward looking for her marble falls will be charging them for cruelty and neglect.

Abby is seriously the sweetest girl. She seemed to know immediately she was safe with me.  I will be creating her own Facebook page for more exposure on her and animal abuse. She had her first bath and loves her comfy bed and toy. Sometimes a bathroom is all it takes to save a life!

In September we took in five puppies in an emergency intake.

Located in Spicewood, the community tried every rescue and animal control regarding a feral dog and her puppies to no avail. When they found the mama dog dead from being hit by a car they frantically started looking for the puppies and calling rescues and animal control. Being turned away by all they called me. They had only been able to find one so far which I told them to bring to me and they did. At 8pm I got a call they found the other four. The boys and I rushed out there and picked them up. All were infested with fleas and starving.

They had their vet check up today. Found to be 5-6 weeks old. Healthy as can be except flea infestation and hookworms eggs. All were dewormed and all given revolution. We will be giving them their first set of shots and a bath tomorrow based on vet recommendation.

Two of the puppies have adopters. The brindle one is the only boy and one of the neighbors will be getting him back after neuter etc. He did the responsible thing in letting me take him due to being too young to be away from siblings.

The yellow one was the one they brought to me. When picking Ryan up an amazing family at his daycare fell in love with her. They had me take pictures of the other three though and will be choosing one (more than likely the yellow as the daughter was in love.

The brindle is the only boy. Adoption fee for all puppies will be 175. The fee includes alter, preventions, microchip, fecal exam, two rounds of dewormer (need to deworm again in two weeks) DHLPP vaccines and Bordatella. While they cannot go home for another 4 weeks deposits of 75 can be placed to hold the puppies when they are ready to go home. 😃
